Cervical erosion is the pathology of cervix of the uterus caused by the following:

Inflammatory processes, neglected or untimely treated
A long-term hormonal contraceptive

Dysplasia of cervix of the uterus is a pathology of the mucous which in case of neglect may cause carcinoma of uterine cervix.
