The problem of headaches has always drawn attention of the great number of experts from all around the world - psychologists, neurologists, psychiatrists, and even biomechanics. With an effort to solve the very nature of the headaches as well as to find effective treatments are established numerous scientific societies and associations. In Russia, the institution that holds its leading positions in the area is the school of academician Vein by decades engaged in the study of headaches and vegetative disorders.

In 1999 it was the time when establishment of the specialized CLINIC became not only relevant but inevitable. It was inevitable because of great value of the accumulated experience, perfected schemes of reliable diagnostics as well as effective treatments.

The founder of the CLINIC Dr Anatoly Starish has spent a few years in the East. There he closely co-operated with Eastern medicine doctors and studied the elements of ancient Eastern medicine.

Dr Anatoly Starish has founded the CLINIC of an absolutely new type and of an ideology completely unknown in Ukraine. Groups of skilled neurologists, neurophysiology diagnosticians with wide range of professional skills have come together within the institution creating a superb medical basis and including all kinds of known headache treatments.

So Dr Starish CLINIC with the most powerful medical and diagnostic basis in the functional neurology in Ukraine began to exist. The recognition of our efforts and success was shown in rewarding the CLINIC with "The Best in Odessa", the "Best in Ukraine" diplomas by the Ukrainian government in 2004. Now the number of our patients got around six thousand!

P.S. We do not claim that we know everything about headaches and vegetative disorders as the study of these diseases is still on. Including the Clinic basis itself, where only presently there are two doctoral and two Ph.D. theses. And that is, don`t you think, is quite unusual for a commercial establishment. We do it because we realize that only constant research could make us move forward and always find new treatments that deserve to be used in practice and in the end will bring a relief to our patients.
